For 2024-2025, we will be offering 2 outdoor classes, which will take place around different parks in the greater Eastside. Classes will be 75-90 minutes depending on weather and location. Each class will have 15 families.

  • Robins, Class F and G –  Outdoor class for 1 to 4 year olds

Every week we will explore a different location in the greater Eastside area.  We will have circle time, do an art activity, and learn about our theme that week.  Our “hikes” are age-appropriate and we modify them based on age group.  Nature is our classroom and we will follow the children’s lead about what they want to learn and try whether it is learning the life cycle of a mushroom, the names of different birds, or practicing balancing on a fallen log and jumping in puddles.

Come explore outdoor spaces with us, rain or shine, in and around Redmond.  Our classes will include art, circle time, storytime, “hiking,” outdoor explorations, and education. Some of the places we may visit include Juel Park, Evans Creek Preserve, Marymoor Audubon Loop, the Redmond Watershed, and more.  This class is for toddlers who are confident walkers.  Please note, there will be limited space for older siblings and babies will need to be worn because many of the trails are not stroller friendly.
